Sauna Use Liability Waiver and Assumption of Risk Agreement

Alcohol and nudity are not permitted in the sauna. Osea Road Camp Sites Ltd. reserve the right to refuse admission to intoxicated persons.​

Children under the age of 16 are not permitted to use the sauna.

Any hanging jewellery should be removed before entering the sauna to prevent burning.

Any glasses or contact lenses should be removed before entering the sauna to avoid any damage to coatings and to prevent contact lenses from drying out.

Any footwear or swim shoes should be removed before entering the sauna.

Osea Road Camp Sites Ltd. is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.

All persons using the sauna do so at their own risk. I confirm that I do not have any medical conditions that would make sauna use unsafe for me, or I have consulted a medical professional who has confirmed sauna use is safe in my case.

You must not use the sauna if you:

• suffer from high or low blood pressure or any heart or circulatory disorder or suffer from epilepsy or diabetes;
• are pregnant; or
• are prone to dizziness or fainting.

I acknowledge that the sauna contains a hot stove and hearth, and that contact with these surfaces will cause burns. I accept responsibility for keeping a safe distance and confirm I will not touch, lean against, or step onto them.

All persons using the sea as a ‘cold plunge’ do so at their own risk. It is your own responsibility to ensure that you are a capable swimmer and can handle being exposed to the cold temperatures and varying conditions of the sea.

Sauna etiquette must be adhered to at all times. This includes;

• Sitting on a towel at all times
• Staying in the sauna for no longer than 20 min at a time (we recommend 5-15 min sessions)
• Gently pouring water onto the sauna stove; drizzle, don’t dump water
• Getting changed within your booked time slot, if you’d like to use the changing room.

Allergies & Sensitivities​

• At The Osea View Sauna, an HVAC system is used to disperse scented fragrances throughout the venue. If you are attending this location, you acknowledge and accept any risks associated with exposure to these scents, including potential sensitivities or allergic reactions.
• Our guided sauna rituals across all sites use natural ingredients, including essential oils (such as eucalyptus, peppermint, tea tree, cajeput, lemongrass, clary sage, cedarwood and Palo Santo), birch and oak whisks, sea salt, honey and citrus. These ingredients are released into the air via steam, applied to the skin, or both.
• If you have allergies, asthma or any respiratory condition, are sensitive to airborne fragrances or plant materials,
• The Osea View Sauna accepts no liability for any reaction arising from a non-disclosed allergy or sensitivity.

If you are making this booking on behalf of a group, you confirm that all members of your group have read and agreed to these terms and conditions and understand that sauna and sea use are at their own risk and will practice safe sauna use.

Non-Commercial Booking Declaration​

By booking this session, I confirm that I am booking for personal or private use only. I am not a wellness practitioner, facilitator, or business booking this session with the intention of commercially reselling tickets, running classes, workshops, or any form of organised activity.

Osea Road Camp Sites Ltd. reserve the right to refuse entry, cut short, or cancel sessions for any reason that may be deemed a health and safety risk, if there are concerns about risky behaviour, or if any of the above rules are not followed. Refunds will not be offered to anyone refused admission.

Osea Road Camp Sites Ltd. accepts no liability for injury, illness, accident, loss, or damage arising from sauna use, sea swimming, or use of the surrounding facilities.

Disclaimer

I acknowledge that I have voluntarily chosen to use the sauna facilities provided by Osea Road Camp Sites Ltd. I understand that sauna use involves exposure to high temperatures and physical exertion which may cause dehydration, dizziness, fainting, or other symptoms and injuries. I confirm that I am in good health and have no medical conditions that would make sauna use unsafe for me.

I fully understand and accept the risks associated with sauna use, including but not limited to dehydration, heat exhaustion, fainting, burns, and other injuries. I voluntarily assume all risks and agree to release, waive, discharge, and hold Osea Road Camp Sites Ltd, its employees, agents, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to my use of the sauna facilities.

I certify that I do not have any medical conditions such as heart disease, respiratory problems, high blood pressure, pregnancy, or any other condition that could be aggravated by sauna use. I agree to consult a physician before using the sauna if I have any doubts about my health status.
